Watch these important films in a supportive environment with friends and neighbors. Discussion to follow each film. Refreshments will be served. All showings are free and open to the public.

TUES, MAY 26, 7:00 pm - The Power of Community
Cuba creatively survived the effects of peak oil brought on by trde embargoes in the 90s. This film looks at their sustaining political, lifestyle and social changes. A fascinating look into our potential future.

Please join us for these most important evenings, even if you've already seen a film being shown. All films will be foloowed by a discussion. We hope that these series will be a springboard for further discussion within our community. Let's explore these difficult issues together.

The Sustainability Library
Upstairs in the Back of the Old Creamery, East Side of the Rear of the Building
(up the hill past the dumpsters)

The Library is a public learning center, hosting books, videos and information on local environmentally minded organizations. A free lending library open to the public, it's open 7 days a week. WiFi availble.

If you have any Sustainability-related books or DVDs to donate, please leave them on wire rack in the kitchen. Also, if you'd like to see how you can help the library grow, offer workshops or just help in general, contact Alice and Amy, 634-5560.

HILLTOWN SUSTAINABILITY GROUP MEETINGS

The Sustainability Group meets the first Wednesday night of every month at the Village Congregational Church, Main Street, Cummington at 7:30 pm. (Rear of the building). Meetings are free and open to the public. All are welcome!
